Cloaked is a privacy startup dedicated to rebuilding consumer trust in how personal data is used. Our vision is to create an internet that serves the needs of its users, first and foremost-with individual privacy and opt-in at the core. Our product is a virtual "cloak" that you use as you visit any website - Facebook, Amazon, etc. It lets you choose to share all, some, or none of your private information based on your personal preference.
About The Role
  • This is a hands-on, high-impact recruiting role focused on building exceptional technical teams during a critical phase of growth. You will act as the primary hiring partner to leadership, owning searches from kickoff through close and helping shape how we attract and hire top talent.
    You'll split your time between deep execution-sourcing, screening, and closing candidates-and strategic partnership with hiring managers to design effective, scalable hiring processes. This role requires both strong recruiting fundamentals and the ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
What You'll Do
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical roles
    • Lead end-to-end recruiting for roles across levels and functions
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates from initial outreach through offer close
    • Build and manage high-quality pipelines through sourcing, referrals, and outbound strategies

    Partner closely with hiring managers
    • Run intake meetings to align on role scope, candidate profile, and interview process
    • Advise on market trends, candidate expectations, and compensation benchmarks
    • Ensure alignment and momentum throughout the hiring process

    Drive candidate quality and experience
    • Conduct thoughtful screens to assess technical baseline and role alignment
    • Deliver a high-touch, responsive, and engaging candidate experience
    • Manage interview processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and strong signal

    Own offer processes and closing
    • Lead offer strategy and execution in partnership with hiring managers and leadership
    • Navigate candidate motivations and close top talent in competitive markets
    • Craft compelling offer packages and thoroughly explain Cloaked's equity, and equity upside potential

    Help build and scale recruiting infrastructure
    • Help define and improve interview processes, scorecards, and hiring workflows
    • Document playbooks and best practices for consistent hiring
    • Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements across recruiting
What Skills & Experiences Will Help You?
  • 4+ years of experience in technical recruiting, ideally within high-growth or startup environments
  • Proven track record of hiring strong talent across multiple disciplines and levels
  • Strong sourcing skills and ability to engage and convert passive candidates
  • Ability to partner effectively with technical stakeholders and influence hiring decisions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes from scratch

Compensation and Benefits
We offer above market rate pay and equity based off of the market's best commercially available data. Your compensation will be a combination of salary, bonus and equity.
