Entry-Level Sales & Tech Recruiter

As an Entry-Level Full-Desk Tech Recruiter, you'll learn how to connect top technology professionals with leading companies while building lasting client relationships. You'll develop valuable sales, recruiting, negotiation, and business development skills that will set you up for long-term success.

This position will be based in Chicago (100 S. Wacker Dr., Suite 210, Chicago, IL 60606) with opportunities available across North America. You will be required to work in the office 4 days a week and 1 day remote. You do NOT need previous recruiting experience to be successful here.

You'll learn to manage both the recruiting and sales sides of the business. Every day is different, and you'll gain experience in:

  • Building relationships with technology professionals and business leaders.
  • Identifying and recruiting top talent for exciting career opportunities.
  • Developing new client partnerships through business development and networking.
  • Matching candidates with companies where they can thrive.
  • Guiding candidates and clients through the interview and hiring process.
  • Attending networking events, including our Tech in Motion community events.
  • Learning from experienced recruiters and sales leaders through hands-on coaching and mentorship.
  • Growing your own book of business with the support of an experienced local team.

  • Starting salary: $50,000 annually
  • Performance-based bonus: $750 placement bonus for each of your first 10 placements. Once you hit that milestone, you promote to Senior Full Desk Recruiter at $55,000 base salary with commission added — and from there, earning potential is uncapped. Most people hit Senior Recruiter within 12 months.
