Job Title: Rad Tech - Traveler (Days)
Position Summary
This is a 13-week traveler assignment for an experienced Radiologic Technologist performing diagnostic imaging in an acute care setting. The position requires proficiency with both mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. The technologist will operate within applicable state and federal regulatory guidelines. Hours are 06:30-19:30.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using mobile and stationary equipment
  • Operate imaging equipment in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Apply extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to support accurate diagnostic imaging
  • Utilize proficient computer skills within radiology information and imaging systems
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to support departmental imaging needs
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program
  • ARRT certification in Radiography
  • Illinois Radiologic Technologist License
  • Illinois Fluoroscopy Permit
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of acute clinical radiology experience required
  • Proficiency with mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
