Job Description
  • Coordinate and follow up on incoming data and documents.
  • Maintain the payroll and HRIS systems with accurate up to date information (employees are assigned correctly in Infor/Fusion).
  • Enter personnel data for new employees and update data for current employees where necessary.
  • Ensure the efficient, correct and timely processing of all location HR information for employees and non-employees.
  • Ensure all personal data is treated as strictly confidential and inaccessible to others.
  • Maintain consistent communication with staffing agency(s) regarding plant staffing needs and/or unsatisfactory performance of temporary staff and/or plant updates.
  • Work with supervisors and Union to ensure policy and procedures are followed in accordance to the Plant Rules and collective bargaining agreement.
  • Main contact person for all hourly queries. Responsible for posting hourly promotional opportunities, coordinating interviews with supervisors, and communicating promotional details to selected candidate.
  • Assist in compiling monthly variables.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities.
  • Communicate any personnel changes or updates regarding leave, discipline, etc. to employee, management and direct supervisor team members.
  • Ensure headcount matches the required to run numbers at all time.
  • Ensure and maintain necessary plant communications on communication monitors and HR communication board.
  • Quality System: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Quality requirements.
  • Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply and meet all function-related EHS requirements.
  • Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements.
  • Compliance: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements.
  • Information Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
  • Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with employees, customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively at all levels.

Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).
Required Qualifications
1 -3 Minimum Years of Experience as an HR Professional.
Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
Must be able and willing to travel to other Company locations.
  • Knowledge of basic HR Management and experience in handling highly sensitive information.
  • Experience with Payroll systems.
  • Microsoft Office experience (Excel. Access, Lotus Notes etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws.
  • Basic understanding of relational data base systems.
  • Experience with data analysis and problem solving.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • PHR, SPHR Certification.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS, Payroll and Time-Keeping Software.
  • Preparing and distributing announcements.
  • Experience in multinational company.
