Assignment Type: Contract, 6+ months with potential for extension and possible conversion
Pay: $27-$32 / hour
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; Fully onsite

Addison Group is hiring an HR Generalist on behalf of our client, a well-established organization with a high-volume operational environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, supporting employees and managers, and working across a broad range of Human Resources functions.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and employee-focused HR Generalist to provide day-to-day HR support at their Fresno location. This individual will partner with employees, managers, and HR leadership on a variety of HR matters, including employee relations, benefits, leave administration, payroll support, compliance, HR systems, and general administration.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite environment and have strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or similar operational setting is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day HR assistance to employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, and workplace questions.
  • Partner with HR leadership and employee relations resources to address employee concerns, workplace issues, and investigations.
  • Assist managers with performance, conduct, policy, and employee-related matters.
  • Support compliance with applicable federal and state employment regulations.
  • Assist with benefits, leave administration, compensation, and payroll-related activities.
  • Help maintain accurate employee information and documentation within HRIS and timekeeping systems.
  • Maintain confidential personnel files, records, and other sensitive HR documentation.
  • Complete HR-related data entry, filing, document preparation, and reporting.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Assist employees with general HR questions and escalate complex matters when appropriate.
  • Support various HR projects and administrative initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience; strong HR Coordinators may also be considered.
  • Ability to start immediately or with minimal notice.
  • Previous experience in a distribution, warehouse, logistics, or similarly fast-paced operational environment is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of employee relations, benefits, leave, payroll, and workplace safety processes.
  • Experience working with HRIS and timekeeping/workforce management systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and data-entry skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Professional and customer-service-oriented approach.

  • Fully onsite position in Fresno, CA.
  • Monday-Friday schedule.
