Rundoo

Redwood City, CA • On-site

$110K - $145K/yr

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement, PTO

Job description

About Rundoo ℹ
Our mission is to empower independent supply stores with best-in-class technology. Think of your local hardware store or mom-and-pop nursery-these are our clients. From paint to lumber to flooring, over 200,000 such stores across the country sell over $1T of building materials annually using outdated, on-premises systems. We're aiming to help them modernize so that they can continue to thrive.
Backed by leading investors including Bessemer and CRV, we've raised $18M across three rounds and are growing quickly. Our team is made up of builders, sellers, and industry veterans with a shared goal: to bring modern technology to an overlooked industry.
About the role
We're looking for the person who makes Rundoo the company students remember meeting. You'll own University Recruiting and employer brand from end to end, and grow into full-cycle technical hiring as you go. If you've spent time in campus recruiting and you're itching to do more, this one is built for you. You'll run our intern program and the intern-to-full-time pipeline, bring Rundoo to life at events like Hack the North, and over time take on full-cycle hiring for Engineering, Data Science, and Product. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with our Head of Talent and our R&D leaders, with plenty of room to make the role your own.
What you'll do
  • Own university recruiting end to end. The intern program, the intern-to-full-time pipeline are yours to build into a motion we run proudly every year. You will take over our existing relationship with the University of Waterloo and establish new relationships with other universities. You are excited to organize, travel to and make the most of our campus recruiting events like Hack the North.
  • Put Rundoo on the map on campus. Make us a name the best student builders know and want to join, starting at Waterloo and growing to new schools.
  • Grow into full-cycle R&D hiring. As you find your footing, you'll take on full-cycle Engineering, DS, and Product roles, with real support along the way.
  • Be a true partner to our R&D leaders. Sharp intake, quick feedback, and a shared sense of the bar, working closely with our CTO and Head of Data Science.
  • Build relationships, not just pipelines. Get out ahead of our needs by building genuine communities of talent, on campus and beyond.

Who you are ☑
You don't need to check every box. If a lot of this sounds like you, we'd love to talk.
  • You've spent 2+ years in university or campus recruiting, running intern programs, campus events, hackathons, or early-career pipelines.
  • You're excited to grow into full-cycle technical recruiting across Engineering, DS, and Product.
  • You give candidates an experience they remember, especially students and early-career folks who are new to all of this.
  • You're organized enough to turn a recruiting season into a repeatable program you're proud of.
  • You take real ownership and like figuring things out without a lot of process to lean on.
  • You're happy to travel now and then for campus moments like Hack the North.

Bonus Points
  • You've partnered with engineering leaders or calibrated on technical talent.
  • You've done employer-brand, content, or social work.
  • You already know people at schools we care about, like Waterloo and beyond.
  • You've used Ashby or a similar ATS.

Compensation
  • Salary: $110K - 145K
  • Equity: $21,068 - $25,639

Benefits
  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage (100% of premiums for you, 50% for dependents)
  • Life Insurance
  • 401k with Betterment
  • Unlimited PTO with 10 company paid holidays
  • Gym stipend
  • Daily team lunches & dinners (if you're staying late, not expected)
  • Learning materials and audiobook subscriptions
  • Dog-friendly office - meet the Rundogs

Location
  • Redwood City, CA - 4 days in office

About the team
You'll work most closely with our Head of Talent and partner directly with our R&D leaders:
