What jobs pay $2000 a day?

High-paying jobs for a Software Recruiter are uncommon, as most recruiters earn annual salaries or commissions rather than daily rates. However, senior or specialized recruiters working on high-value placements or in consulting roles may earn significant commissions that could amount to several thousand dollars in a day. Typically, such earnings depend on the industry, experience, and the value of placements made.

What is a software recruiter?

A software recruiter is a professional who specializes in sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for software development and technology roles. They often work with hiring managers to understand job requirements and use tools like applicant tracking systems to manage the recruitment process.

Industry UsageCommon in tech industry, software companies, staffing firmsUsed interchangeably, sometimes emphasizing technical skills
Search & Comparison IntentPeople compare to understand role scope and requirementsOften compared to clarify technical expertise needed

Both Software Recruiters and Technical Recruiters focus on sourcing and hiring software and technical talent. While their titles are often used interchangeably, Technical Recruiters may have a stronger emphasis on technical skills and understanding of specific technologies. Both roles are vital in tech hiring, with similar credentials and work environments, making the comparison useful for job seekers and employers alike.

What are Software Recruiters?

Software Recruiters are professionals who specialize in finding, attracting, and hiring candidates for software-related positions within organizations. They work closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and source qualified candidates through various channels, such as job boards, networking, and social media. Software Recruiters often conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews, and manage the hiring process to ensure the best technical and cultural fit for software teams. Their role is crucial in helping companies build strong software development teams in a competitive talent market.

What jobs pay $10,000 a month without a degree?

Software recruiters can earn $10,000 or more per month through commissions and bonuses, especially when working in high-demand markets or for large firms. Success in this role often depends on strong networking, sales skills, and industry knowledge, rather than formal education. Other high-paying roles without degrees include sales managers, real estate brokers, and certain tech roles like web developers or digital marketers with experience and certifications.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Software Recruiter, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Software Recruiter, you need strong knowledge of technical roles, sourcing techniques, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, often supported by a bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and Boolean search methods is typically required. Outstanding interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to build rapport with both candidates and hiring managers set top performers apart. These skills and tools are crucial for efficiently identifying, engaging, and securing top software talent in a competitive market.

What is the 70 30 rule in hiring?

The 70/30 rule in hiring suggests that recruiters should spend approximately 70% of their time sourcing and engaging candidates, and 30% on screening and interviewing. For a software recruiter, this emphasizes the importance of proactive talent sourcing and building a strong candidate pipeline to fill technical roles efficiently.

What are some common challenges faced by software recruiters when sourcing technical talent?

Software recruiters often encounter challenges such as high competition for skilled candidates, rapidly changing technology requirements, and difficulty assessing technical skills without a technical background. Staying updated on the latest programming languages and frameworks is essential to effectively evaluate resumes and engage with candidates. Building strong relationships with hiring managers and leveraging modern sourcing tools can help overcome these obstacles and improve the quality of hires.

Job description

Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future
Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.
We're accelerating our mission with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a 290,000-square-foot facility creating 350 new jobs. We are expanding rapidly to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to expand into naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.
Hadrian is backed by leading investors including T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our fast-growing team is united around reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.
The Role
As a Recruiter, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling our talent across a broad range of disciplines. From software engineers and hardware specialists to operations professionals and executive leaders, you'll work on high-impact roles that shape the future of our company and the industry.
This is not a traditional recruiting role. You'll be embedded in a fast-paced, technical environment where agility, resourcefulness, and deep partnership with hiring managers are key. If you're excited about building diverse, high-performance teams across functions and levels, this is the role for you.
You'll be joining a growing Talent team that is deeply collaborative, mission-driven, and passionate about building at scale. We believe great hiring is a team effort, and we operate with transparency, urgency, and empathy. Our team supports a rapidly expanding organization and partners closely with leadership to shape hiring strategy, candidate experience, and employer brand.
We are looking for multiple Recruiters:
Manufacturing & Hardware Recruiter - Owns hiring for the advanced manufacturing and hardware talent that build and operate Hadrian's factories.
Software Recruiter - Owns hiring for engineers and technical talent that power Hadrian's software and automation systems.
G&A Recruiter - Builds out critical business functions across Finance, HR, Legal, and Operations to support our rapid growth.
What You'll Do
  • Own full-cycle recruiting across a diverse set of functions (e.g. Software, Hardware, Operations, Leadership)
  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, success profiles, and team dynamics
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to build diverse, high-quality pipelines
  • Deliver exceptional candidate experiences that reflect Hadrian's culture and values
  • Lead efficient and scalable interview processes, balancing speed with quality
  • Leverage data to track recruiting performance, identify bottlenecks, and inform decisions
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives including employer branding, talent market mapping, DEI efforts, and recruiting operations
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to stakeholders across the company, influencing hiring decisions with clarity and insight
Who You Are
  • You have 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across multiple functions or domains
  • You're energized by variety and thrive in environments where no two roles are the same
  • You're a strong communicator who can build trust with hiring managers and candidates alike
  • You are data-literate, process-oriented, and relentless about improving the craft of recruiting
  • You approach recruiting with curiosity, resilience, and a bias for action
  • You care deeply about candidate experience and team dynamics
  • Bonus: Experience hiring in technical, manufacturing, or early-stage startup environments

Compensation
For this role, the target salary range is $100,000 - $175,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).
This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
Benefits for Full-time Employees
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees
  • 401k
  • Relocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Equity
