Job description

The North Texas Tollway Authority has been connecting North Texans for 25 years, serving one of the fastest growing metro areas in the US. We serve more than 14 million drivers through safe, well-maintained roads, which has brought significant and continued economic growth and development. We were the first tolling agency in the US to use electronic tolling technology with the TollTag. We were also among the first to convert an entire network of roads to cashless tolling (2010). NTTA is dedicated to continuing its legacy as a leader in tolling.
NTTA has several internship opportunities at their Corporate Headquarters in Plano, Texas. The internship program is designed to allow interns to gain valuable skills through hands-on experience of the day-to-day operations of a successful toll road entity.
The 12-week (Monday, June 1, 2025, to Friday, August 21st, 2025) paid summer internship program at NTTA provides:

Key Responsibilities
In this role, the L&D intern will support the design, delivery, and evaluation of corporate learning initiatives over a 12-week internship. This role offers hands-on experience in learning operations, data analysis, and program development within the public service environment.
  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS), including course updates, learner tracking, and system organization
  • Develop and deliver a training metrics report using LMS data, highlighting key insights and trends
  • Conduct research and benchmarking to support the design of a new corporate learning program
  • Compile findings and present recommendations to the HR/L&D team
The intern may also have opportunities to gain exposure to other areas of Human Resources, including recruiting, employee relations, and total rewards.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled or completion of junior or senior year towards an undergraduate/graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Education).
  • GPA of 2.5 is required.
  • Possess excellent research and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong communication, organizational and technical skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Fast learner and team player with a willing to learn attitude, that is adaptive and receptive to various duties and assignments.
