Job Summary

The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst maintains the integrity, reliability, and optimization of the organization’s HRIS. This role ensures HR applications meet departmental needs and organizational objectives while supporting efficient HR operations and data management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with HR staff and leadership to define short- and long-term system objectives; Develop plans to modify or replace HRIS applications; Assess system utilization and recommend improvements; Prepare reports and present findings to leadership; Collaborate with analysts and HRIS staff to plan, test, and implement enhancements; Develop training materials and documentation; Provide user training and hands-on support; Ensure compliance with data security and privacy requirements; Maintain knowledge of HRIS trends, vendors, and technology; Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience / Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred; Minimum of three years HR business systems experience preferred; Strong interpersonal and technical support skills; Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Familiarity with HR policies and procedures; Ability to maintain confidentiality; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Strong understanding of functional analysis and system design; Technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
