Systems Analyst, Boyertown, PA
The Systems Analyst will lead the expansion of standard processes in IQMS ERP (now called DELMIAworks) and related applications to scale business operations, improve existing practices, and address new business requirements. This role requires a deep working knowledge and understanding of core business systems, including but not limited to IQMS and/or Oracle. Knowledge of all areas covered by the ERP system is required, including manufacturing, planning, purchasing, finance, reporting, etc. The role is based in Boyertown, PA, and requires 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (1-2 times every 2 months).
Systems Analyst Responsibilities:
- Develop processes to handle operational issues within direct area of responsibility; maintain robust operational management discipline using metrics, and ensure all colleagues operate within published procedures and professional standards in order to achieve all processing metrics and department standards.
- Develop methodology to ensure that assigned task that are complex in nature are managed effectively and in a timely manner ensuring Client measurement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are adhered to, in order to provide services in an efficient, effective and regulatory compliant manner.
- Communicate direction for team meetings and activities to encourage the sharing of opinions, ideas, knowledge, and solutions, approve inputs received for the evolution of the operational model at all levels of the organization, counsel on, and where required, lead change efforts, projects, quick wins, question what next and encourage ideas in order to promote new process improvement ideas that leverage technology solutions and to improve provision of service.
- Develop strategy to manage individual performance and for development plans for each team member with effective mentoring, providing inputs on performance feedback and all people related matters including recruiting, salary/bonus, performance management, training, talent mapping, succession planning, status changes, etc. and facilitates training sessions for all colleagues as applicable in order to support, and guidance to less experienced Colleagues and help develop department resources.
- Approve the travel and expense operating budget for the team in order to manage costs, working within budgetary/financial objectives for the team.
- Approve Senior Leadership service activity reports and present technical information for Management and Leadership to ensure documentation for the purpose of decision making.
- Develop relationships with peers on complex and contentious reinsurance developments internally and builds, promotes and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets to support the team and/or department externally for all aspects of reinsurance service processing and to understand and resolve problems for all external stakeholders.
Systems Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of in-depth experience with IQMS/DELMIAworks across various modules.
- Hands-on development and implementation experience with ERP systems, preferably IQMS/DELMIAworks.
- Strong understanding of systems setups and configurations.
- Strong experience in designing and developing Crystal Reports.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
- Solid experience delivering and implementing ERP solutions across multi-site manufacturing organizations.
- Extensive experience implementing and supporting IQMS.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations.
- Strong skills with SQL and Crystal Reports required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas concisely to a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Self-motivated, organized, accurate, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency.
Systems Analyst Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in plastics manufacturing.
- Experience with other reporting tools and ERP systems.
- Experience in multi-ERP environments.
- Experience with IT integration of acquired companies.
- Experience implementing quality management systems.
