Job description

Senior Systems Analyst

Client First Technologies currently is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support an upcoming contract. The Senior Systems Analyst translates mission needs into technical and functional requirements; supports planning, development, testing, and integration of enterprise capabilities; and ensures system architectures align with DoD standards. The Senior Systems Analyst also supports database management, requirements traceability, and Navy enterprise architecture compliance.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Dahlgren, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, refine, and document business and technical requirements to support delivery and sustainment of Navy systems
  • Support planning, design, development, and test activities for new/enhanced applications, ensuring alignment with documented requirements and mission objectives
  • Assist with database management support, including data structures mapped to application requirements
  • Develop and maintain artifacts consistent with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and approved enterprise architecture tools (e.g., IBM System Architect)
  • Provide traceability between mission needs, design decisions, and resulting capability delivery

Qualifications

  • Six (6) years of professional experience in requirements implementation, technical planning, application testing, and database management support
  • Demonstrated experience with DoDAF and enterprise architecture modeling, including applicable tools (e.g., IBM System Architect)
  • Meets DoD 8570 IAT III requirements (for example, certifications such as: CISSP, CISA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience aligning system designs to Navy enterprise services, acquisition milestones, and cybersecurity accreditation requirements
  • Experience supporting readiness reviews, design reviews, and technical briefings to Government leadership

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Occasional travel and overtime may be required

  • This position is subject to a government background investigation (BI) and must meet eligibility for access to classified information. Candidates must have a current, in-scope Tier 3 (T3) BI; Tier 5 (T5) preferred
