As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading projects to enhance andmaintainsystems that support regulatory compliance across the EHS, Product Stewardship, and Research and Development spaces.
  • Collaborating with compliance experts, business stakeholders, IT teams, and software vendors to develop, implement, and improve system solutions that meet evolving regulatory and operational needs.
  • Translating business and regulatory requirements into system enhancements, functional specifications, and implementation plans.
  • Driving system improvement initiatives, including upgrades, configuration changes, maintenance activities, and process optimization.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and project communications to ensure alignment, visibility, and user readiness for system changes.
  • Gathering, prioritizing, and managing user requests related to system enhancements, functionality improvements, and compliance-driven changes.
  • Analyzing system issues,identifyingroot causes, and coordinating corrective actions tomaintainsystem reliability, performance, and usability.
  • Partnering with IT teams to support systemintegrations, data flows, testing, release activities, and long-term solution planning.
  • Supporting software enhancement and upgrade efforts in partnership with external vendors and internal technical teams.
  • Staying informed on industry best practices and trends in compliance systems, application support, and systems management to drive continuous improvement.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • 3 years or more of project management, systems support, systems analysis, or application management experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Experience supporting business systems, including troubleshooting, enhancement delivery, and cross-functional coordination

Additionalqualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Proficiencywith software analysis tools
  • Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • Experience leading system-related projects, including enhancements, upgrades, implementations, or maintenance initiatives
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions
  • Experience working with software vendors and IT teams to implement and support application changes
  • Strong understanding of system functionality, issue resolution, and process improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and execute project plans with minimal supervision
  • Experience with testing, release support, and change management activities
  • A quick learner who is detail oriented, organized, anddemonstratesstrong problem-solving skills and collaboration across teams, functions, and organizations

This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
