Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support the Corporate Technology Group - Legal Strategy and Shared Services (LSSS). This role is critical in modernizing existing applications and integrations, coordinating delivery activities, and ensuring successful support of nearly 20 legal applications. The analyst will serve as a key liaison between the CORE Legal Team and Legal Platform Strategy (LPS), managing incidents, service requests, releases, outages, and other operational matters.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct analysis to understand business use of technology and integration requirements for modernization initiatives.
  2. Coordinate work across multiple legal applications and ensure successful integrations supporting LSSS operations.
  3. Partner with Legal Platform Strategy (LPS) on incidents, service requests, releases, and outages.
  4. Create and manage Jira stories, backlog, boards, and sprints.
  5. Address non-technical blockers by coordinating with dependent teams.
  6. Facilitate scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, and demonstrations.
  7. Translate business needs into clear requirements and ensure alignment with delivery teams.
  8. Support vendor-hosted and SaaS solutions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications
  1. Senior-level experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst supporting enterprise technology platforms in regulated environments.
  2. Demonstrated ownership of requirements definition, solution analysis, and delivery coordination across complex initiatives.
  3. Experience partnering with Legal, Risk, Compliance, or Corporate Services organizations.
  4. Strong understanding of system development lifecycles (planning, analysis, implementation, release).
  5. Experience coordinating delivery activities including dependency management, milestone planning, and release readiness.
  6. Working knowledge of data privacy, records retention, security, and compliance requirements for legal systems.
  7. Experience supporting vendor-hosted or SaaS solutions and system integrations.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Familiarity with modern technology concepts such as APIs, integrations, cloud-based platforms, and data flows.
  2. Experience with Jira for backlog management and sprint coordination.
  3. Background in legal technology modernization initiativ es.

Certifications
  1. Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or Agile methodologies are a plus.
