Description

Job Summary: This position is on Lockton’s Accounting Information System team. This team supports the Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials/EPM systems from a functional perspective and serves as a liaison between Finance, IT and HR. Our team provides end-user support and is responsible for system configuration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • System Support - provides expert functional support for systems by responding to issues encountered by operational teams, recommend corrective actions or changes, report those requiring IT involvement, assist IT in issue resolution, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. • Partners and collaborate with IT to implement fixes, modifications, enhancements, and new systems. • Develop, document, and implement test plans with respect to the functional requirements of new systems and/or upgrades to existing systems. • Conducting system testing and release note review for change requests, frequent system updates and configuration changes. • Provision, support and maintain security access for associates globally. Ensures compliance through security testing and analysis. • Support the annual IT audit with respect to accounting systems access controls. • Write and maintain queries and reports for end users using a variety of tools including SmartView, Oracle Financial Reporting Studio, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, SQL, and Power BI. • Determines system requirements and communicates them with specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. • Collaborates with the business to identify and document business requirements and implement appropriate specifications, monitoring for compliance and effectiveness. • Document current state business processes with respect to Accounting systems, including automation, exception handling, and issue resolution. Provide expertise and best practice recommendations to operational teams. Create documentation for end users to reference and conduct system training for new hires. • Data analysis – sources, compiles, and interprets data. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on the systems and data output. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output. • Identifies issues that affect system processes and assists in correcting. Required Skills • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials ERP modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Fixed Assets and Travel & Expense) and ability to develop knowledge of the business processes for each. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to conceptualize, formulate, and succinctly convey complex solutions to a wide audience. • Desire to implement best practices. Demonstrated track record of process improvement through innovation and creativity, considering different approaches to issue resolution. • Positive, proactive, and self-motivated. Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
