This role will be part of the Credit Analytics team that is responsible for managing, monitoring, and reporting on the performance of a $100B+ portfolio of largely transitional commercial real estate loans. This role will involve working closely with the Situs Asset Management Team and Servicing team to deliver accurate, timely and consistently high-quality deliverables. The incumbent should possess strong analytical skills, advanced Excel skills and a basic understanding of real estate finance, terminology, and performance metrics.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Model new assets in loan performance templates that report historical and projected cash flow. Determine and coordinate customizations of templates based on negotiated loan terms or analysis parameters required by underwriters, servicing, and asset management.
  • Review and summarize loan covenants provided under loan documents and enter those requirements in an asset management database
  • Spread borrower-provided financial statements within financial models and advise on any emerging asset-level performance risk.
  • Perform loan to value, debt yield and debt service coverage ratio tests and advise asset management on loan performance based on Lender requirements.
  • Gather market data in terms of rent, occupancy, absorption, sales trends, etc. and advise asset management of any emerging market risk within assigned portfolios.
  • Process draw requests for loans with a construction or renovation component and make recommendations to asset management on funding conditions
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly asset-level reports in Excel and review for accuracy
  • Support asset management team in their daily responsibilities
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly collateral valuations
  • Assist in preparation of various ad-hoc reports
  • Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Qualifications/ Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related subjects or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Entry level professional with 0-2 years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at an Analyst level role or external equivalent
  • Strong analytical and computer skills with a thorough knowledge of Excel including the ability to perform cash flow analyses.
  • Must be able to work efficiently with large datasets to process and present results as requested
  • Ability to work in a team environment, to think independently and generate quality work product
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Adhere to processes and procedures but suggest and implement improvements when warranted
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Strong reading comprehension
  • Strong business writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$52,000.00 - $65,000.00
Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
