The Impact You Will Make

The Senior HRIS Analyst assists with the administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Dayforce Human Capital Management (HCM) system.

This role will work closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and other business stakeholders to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and effectiveness of HR data and processes in Dayforce. The Senior HRIS Analyst will assist in supporting system enhancements, upgrades, troubleshooting problems, developing and running reports, data analysis, providing system support to end users, and ongoing process improvement initiatives. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain HRIS while focusing on data integrity, system performance and functionality.
  • Assist in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting within HRIS modules (Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Reporting, Recruiting, Performance Management, Workflows, Forms, etc).
  • Regularly troubleshoot day to day issues that arise.  This includes but not limited to time off balances, shift rotations, login issues, forms, workflows, and other inquiries.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, Benefits, IT and other business stakeholders to solve system related challenges, answer questions and improve processes.
  • Support HRIS upgrades within system including testing and enabling in production.  Make recommendations for new functionality that fit business needs.
  • Audit and perform data validation to ensure consistent and accurate data across HRIS system.
  • Lead HRIS projects from start to finish while partnering with appropriate stakeholders. This includes documenting processes, providing training and follow up.
  • Complete annual compliance reporting (EEO-1, CA Pay Data Reporting, etc).
  • Run monthly reports for OSHA reporting, Business Reviews, Board of Directors and other ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining system security protocols, role-based access controls and confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience working in HRIS
  • Experience working in HCM systems (Dayforce experience preferred)
  • XML writing experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Performs work under general supervision
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems within HRIS system
  • Other key competencies include excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, analytical thinking skills, project planning and problem solving
