Job description

Position Summary:
The Senior HRIS Analyst is a senior-level functional and technical resource responsible for administering and continuously improving the company's HR technology ecosystem, with primary emphasis on UKG Pro and its payroll, reporting, workflow, integration, and workforce management capabilities. The role partners with Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Human Resources, Finance, Tax, IT, and external vendors to support secure, scalable, and well-controlled solutions. This position also supports critical HRIS operations, projects, data integrity, process documentation, and cross-training to ensure effective service and operational continuity.
This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship.
Areas of Expertise & Special Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/HR/Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Five or more years of progressively responsible experience supporting HR systems, payroll, benefits, timekeeping, reporting, integrations, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Three or more years of hands-on experience with UKG Pro, UKG Pro Back Office, UKG Workforce Management, UKG People Analytics/IBM Cognos, or a comparable enterprise HCM platform.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. payroll and year-end processing, payroll tax reporting, retirement plan feeds, benefits open enrollment, ACA reporting, compensation administration, and general ledger processes.
  • Experience administering HR systems, workflows, security roles, business rules, system tables, scheduled processes, data imports, configuration changes, integrations, and file feeds.
  • Strong reporting and data-analysis skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel and experience creating, validating, scheduling, and governing operational, compliance, audit, and management reports.
  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot and other artificial intelligence applications to support reporting, analysis, documentation, research, and process improvement while maintaining appropriate privacy and security controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate downstream impacts, manage multiple priorities, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills, including the ability to develop procedures, testing materials, training resources, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Human Resources, Finance, Tax, IT, auditors, vendors, and other stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Sound judgment and a demonstrated commitment to protecting confidential employee, payroll, benefits, tax, and personal identifiable information.

Major Responsibilities:
  • HRIS Administration, Configuration and Employee Lifecycle Support - Administer and support UKG Pro, UKG Pro Back Office, UKG Workforce Management, workflows, security, business rules, system tables, employee lifecycle processes, PTO plans, global holidays, system releases, user access, and production support issues.
  • Payroll, Benefits, Tax and Year-End Operations - Provide senior-level HRIS support for payroll, year-end, Roth catch-up, tax reporting, Fidelity retirement plan feeds and employer-match rules, PlanSource, open enrollment, benefits reporting, ACA 1095 processing, compensation processes, and HRSoft.
  • Integrations, Financial Interfaces and Data Controls - Monitor and support HR, payroll, benefits, retirement, tax, SAP, WFM, and financial interfaces; maintain UKG general ledger mapping; support OneStream-related initiatives; test production changes; reconcile results; and perform data audits.
  • Reporting, Analytics and Compliance - Create, validate, schedule, and govern operational, financial, payroll, benefits, tax, compensation, survey, audit, and compliance reports while maintaining report inventories, distribution controls, data minimization, and appropriate access.
  • Projects, Process Improvement and Knowledge Management - Lead or support HR technology projects and process improvements, maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation, deliver user and cross-functional training, and ensure critical processes have documented backup coverage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
