Job description

The HRIS Sr. Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the Human Resources Information Systems are meeting the needs of a growing business by serving as a liaison between internal/external customers and functional team members to ensure effective delivery of solutions.The Sr. HRIS Analyst should promote proactive approaches using the HRIS to address business needs and solve problems, while enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the HRMS capabilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:This list is not intended to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Uses various means to collect data and report data to other departments within the company.
  • Creates and maintains human resources information systems and databases. ADP EV6 and ADP eTime (time and attendance system) currently, UKG starting late 2026 or early 2027.
  • Participate in implementation of new HRIS system, UKG. Ongoing HRIS support in both systems and managing the new system after go-live.
  • Handles data regarding employee productivity, attendance records and salary information.
  • Works with the HR department and all others as necessary in order to provide the information needed.
  • Makes sure that security protocols regarding information systems are in place and followed.
  • Enters employee data into various information systems and recalls data as needed.
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with those you need to maintain good rapport in order to successfully accomplish your job.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the work environment, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required or preferred. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrates vast knowledge of HRIS software and systems. (ADP EV6, ADP RM, ADP GTOR, ADP eTime, UKG Pro, UKG WFM)
  • Possesses a strong work ethic for working with confidential information.
  • Possesses an analytical mind for determining when software changes should be made and how systems can be made more efficient.
  • Demonstrates an ability to teach others how to use various systems effectively.
  • Shows an ability to work in a team environment.
  • Shows an ability to keep up with changing technologies and attend meetings or conferences for ongoing education.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of HRIS experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ADPR report writer, and suite of ADP products experience will be highly recommended in this role. Self-starter with excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot system issues is necessary. BS preferred, but will consider applicants with proven knowledge and work experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think, communicate in a fast-paced environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Exhibits strong communication skills, ensuring that employees and other departments have access to the information they need. Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as instructions, reports, email communication, and HR system requests. Must be able to effectively communicate within and across departmental lines.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to use computers and all standard programs used by the industry and the ability to learn and effectively use any and all other computer programs that are or will be made available. Proficient in all Microsoft Office products. The successful candidate will have advanced report writer skills, preferably using ADPR and Power Bi, additionally excellent Excel skills are required, including the ability to transform data using Formulas, XLOOKUP's and the use of Pivot tables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the office. The employee is required to sit; use hands for computer work; reach with hands and arms; listen and speak. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the incumbent must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time. The work environment of the Sr. HRIS Analyst is typically climate controlled and relatively noise free, but, because the Sr. HRIS Analyst will be supporting the entire operation (including production level reporting) there will be times you will be required to be on the production floor.

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: The hours and days of work are established as needed by operations and at the discretion of management and may be changed (increased or decreased) by management as required. Generally, this will be Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM.
