JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our sales team and bridge the gap between product capabilities and customer needs. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong communication and sales skills to support pre-sales activities, deliver compelling technical demonstrations, develop proposals, and ensure successful deployment handoffs.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions(Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

• Serve as the technical lead in pre-sales engagements: qualify requirements, develop solution architecture, and present technical proposals.
• Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (POC) trials, and technical workshops for prospective customers.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to develop quotes, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and prepare technical sections of proposals.
• Translate customer requirements to engineering and product teams; provide feedback.
• Support sales negotiations by explaining technical trade-offs, total cost of ownership, and ROI.
• Provide accurate technical documentation, configuration best practices, and deployment guides.
• Support sales team with track and report on potential sales pipeline activities and forecast opportunities from technical point of view.
• Participate in industry events, webinars, and customer visits to promote solutions and gather market intelligence.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor products, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Keeps informed of industry and market trends and requirements in order to provide input into new product innovations and anticipated customer demands
• Works with product engineers and sales team to build and analyze cost price for new and special products to maximize volume and profitability
• Travel to customer and supplier facilities to secure opportunities and coordinate project details.
  • Flexible hours to accommodate customer time zones and demo schedules.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS - Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
• . BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience:
• 3+ years in a technical sales, field application engineering, solutions engineering, or systems engineering role.
• Demonstrated experience presenting technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of the product domain (Cabin Interiors Products and Services).
• Proven ability to manage multiple customer engagements and meet sales deadlines.
Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting to executive-level and technical stakeholders.
• Customer-focused with strong consultative selling skills.
• Team player with ability to coordinate across product, engineering, and operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Aerospace and aircraft interior product knowledge a must
• Experience with CAD software platforms
• Technical sales experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in a business/manufacturing environment
• Fluent with the MS Office suite
• Must demonstrate aptitude for creative problem resolution; conflict resolution, negotiating, persuading, and speaking with others as well as responding appropriately to all levels of the organization
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Financial data interpretations are essential
• Cooperative, positive, courteous and professional behavior and conduct is essential
• Must possess a high degree of interpersonal skills in order to facilitate a team environment
