Job description

The Technical Sales Consultant will support the local Milwaukee sales team across fire alarm, camera, intrusion, emergency responder communication enhancement systems (ERCES), and access control projects. This role involves assisting sales representatives in selecting the most suitable products for customer needs, conducting site visits to assess requirements, and collaborating on system layouts. The Technical Sales Consultant will create comprehensive bills of materials (BOMs) and develop pricing proposals for the sales team. Additionally, they will represent the company in front of customers, participate in sales meetings, and build strong relationships with both the sales team and clients. Training the sales team on basic system layout design, product knowledge, and best practices is essential, as it gathers feedback to enhance processes and offerings. Strong interpersonal skills, technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability are key attributes for success in this role.
