Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative

OK/AR Territory - Located in Tulsa, OK

You: The ideal candidate will have related experience selling instrumentation, test & measurement and communication products. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the sales process and the ability to prospect, develop opportunities and close sales. She or he will need to be well-organized, Highly Self-Motivated, possess exceptional time management skills and must be able to handle multiple demands, all while continuing to establish and maintain productive relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit and understand customer requirements for environmental test chambers, vibration systems, ovens, electronics packaging, analog, digital and RF test instrumentation, rugged an industrial computing, data acquisition applications and others.
  • Present technical solutions which meet or exceed specifications
  • Maximize order activity in territory, driven by in person and virtual meetings
  • Collaborate with Customers and Manufacturers to provide high-quality solutions
  • Grow existing accounts by building relationships with existing clients
  • Prospect via referrals, leads and networking
  • Respond in a timely manner to customer and manufacturer requests
  • Maintain a high-quality company CRM and report activity as required
  • Attend appropriate events (manufacturer training, sales meetings, conferences, trade shows, trade Industry meetings, etc.)
  • Minimal travel for territory coverage and attendance at company principal and industry events

Candidate Qualifications

  • 2+ years technical sales experience (or equivalent)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Strong Technical Background
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Security clearance (or the ability to obtain security clearance) required.
