ASI is seeking a Proposal Analyst. This position is eligible for work in our Jacksonville, FL or Lexington Park, MD office.

The Proposal Analyst is a critical team member who interfaces with all levels of management. Receiving cross-division training and working side by side with the Proposals, Contracts, Accounting, Program Management, and Quality teams. The Proposal Analyst will ensure all proposals are compliant and submitted on time. The ideal candidate will display an interest in taking on new challenges, increasing their skill set, and enhancing their responsibilities in a growing division.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of all proposal sections, plans, and submission documents
  • Assist in developing and maintaining master proposal schedules
  • Prepare and organize past performance proposal documentation
  • Prepare status reports and briefings for senior management
  • Research, identify, and track potential business opportunities using various sources
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and CRM systems to track leads, opportunities, proposals, and contracts
  • Support proposal development, formatting, and final production efforts
  • Maintain and update internal resumes used in proposal submissions
  • Coordinate routing of formatted resumes for review and approval
  • Review proposal documents for accuracy, formatting, and compliance requirements
  • Support post-submission activities, including technical clarifications, proposal updates, briefing slides, presentation reviews, and feedback tracking
  • Document proposal lessons learned and process improvements
  • Assist with proposal file organization and records management

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of data analysis and interpretation experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
    • An additional 5 years of data analysis experience may be substituted for degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and display exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal government proposals or contracts
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proposal management processes
