Job description

Job title: Business Systems Analyst I 

Location: Westfield, PA

Duration: 6+ Months

Search Information:

Since Sabinsville is in northern PA, very close to the NY border you might consider extending the search into NY.  Some of the reasonably close NY towns are Corning, Hornell, Bath, and Wellsville for reference.

Resource Information:
-1 resource/position for 6 month duration with a possibility of extension.

Details from the hiring manager with experience and additional preferred skills:

85% of time will be split between Maximo, Excel(manipulating Maximo data) & OFS, remaining 15% is other Data Systems related work.  SQL in this case can be just a basic knowledge of relational database queries.  Azure DevOps, commonly known as ADO is the platform being used for bug tracking, not a necessary skill in this case but certainly a helpful one if applicants have experience on the platform.

Customers are all internal colleagues.  I would expect an applicants to have either an Associates or higher degree in a relevant technical/business area of study or 5+ years relevant experience in maintenance management or data systems (preferred).

A typical day will involve working with and taking direction from existing Data Systems Team Members.  Primary focus will be on updating/inserting Maximo data via the user interface and import/export options.  Scope will include but not be limited to PM, WO, Job Plans, Operating Procedures, Assets, Locations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst 1 with the Compression Services Data System Team. The successful candidate will work in a back end role primarily supporting the maintenance management and work order application systems.  The reporting location will be in Sabinsville PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Systems Analyst 1:

•                     Knowledge of related applications and databases

•                     Ability to perform in-depth data analysis.

•                     Conceptual thinking and reasoning abilities.

•                     Ability to collect accurate data, analyze problems, and develop solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Business Systems Analyst 1:

•                     0-2+ years directly related experience.

•                     Staffed by beginners who have a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements.

•                     Demonstrated competency in verbal communications, written communications, and interpersonal understanding.

•                     Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust.

•                     Ability to establish and maintain confidence in the Information Technology's teams' knowledge of, and concern for, the customer's business needs.

•                     Ability to manage work and perform varied duties simultaneously.

•                     Ability to analyze problems and think logically.

•                     Self-starter.
