Job description

Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets.

We are more than 36,000 people, in over 70 countries, dedicated to improving quality of life. Everyone has an important role to play. With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.

Role Description

At Arcadis, we are delivering some of the most transformative, asset‑management‑led and digitally enabled modernization programmes in the world at a number of high‑profile, asset‑intensive organisations.

Within our Digital Intelligence Practice, we seek to create long‑term partnerships with major transportation and infrastructure organisations to help them modernise enterprise platforms, implement enterprise asset management (EAM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and enterprise decision analytics (EDA) solutions, and create sustainable, data‑driven continuous improvement of their assets, people and overall business.

We combine deep industry knowledge with advanced digital capabilities – spanning enterprise asset management, data engineering, cloud platforms, analytics and AI – to improve performance across the full asset lifecycle from strategy, planning, design, build, operate & maintain, and renewal.

A critical enabler of this transformation is data. We are seeking a Senior Maximo Consultant with deep expertise in complex enterprise data migrations and asset data transformation to lead high‑impact workstreams within multi‑year modernization programmes.

This is not a technical data extraction role; this is an opportunity to shape how enterprise asset data is structured, governed, migrated and optimised for the next generation of transportation systems.

Role Accountabilities
  • Lead enterprise‑scale Maximo EAM data migration and transformation initiatives, including:
    • Legacy system rationalisation.
    • Asset hierarchy redesign.
    • Master data governance alignment.
    • Large‑volume migration into IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
    • Enterprise data model harmonisation across ERP, GIS and operational systems.
  • Operate at the intersection of consulting, data architecture and EAM domain leadership.
  • Work within highly complex transportation environments undergoing enterprise modernisation, including:
    • Cloud‑based MAS deployments.
    • Multi‑system integration landscapes (ERP, GIS, data platforms, operational systems).
    • Legacy system rationalisation.
    • Enterprise data transformation and harmonisation initiatives.
    • Regulatory and governance‑driven environments.
  • Lead complex data workstreams:
    • Own and lead end‑to‑end Maximo data migration strategy across discovery, profiling, cleansing, transformation and validation phases.
    • Design and govern migration frameworks for multi‑million record datasets.
    • Define data quality standards, governance controls, progress tracking and reconciliation processes.
    • Oversee cutover planning and migration execution within large programme environments.
  • Shape enterprise asset data strategy:
    • In conjunction with Arcadis and client SMEs redesign asset hierarchies and master data structures aligned to future‑state operating models.
    • Lead workshops to rationalise legacy asset and maintenance data.
    • Align asset data with ERP, GIS and analytics platforms.
    • Establish sustainable data governance and stewardship frameworks.
  • Architect data transformation solutions:
    • Design ETL/ELT pipelines and transformation logic supporting Maximo and MAS deployments.
    • Define migration architecture leveraging cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake).
    • Guide tooling decisions across orchestration, data quality and automation frameworks.
    • Collaborate with integration architects to ensure alignment between transactional and master data flows.
  • Advise & influence:
    • Serve as trusted advisor to client leadership on enterprise data risks and transformation strategies.
    • Present data migration roadmaps, quality metrics, progress and readiness assessments to senior internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proactively engage with client asset and data SMEs to ensure ownership, accountability and timely delivery of client‑led activities and deliverables.
    • Quantify and mitigate programme risk associated with legacy data complexity.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Deep IBM Maximo / MAS platform experience.
  • Enterprise‑scale data migration leadership.
  • Structured consulting methodology.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capability.
  • Extensive experience leading complex Maximo data migrations within large asset‑intensive organisations achieving successful outcomes against a defined scope of delivery.
  • Proven delivery of multi‑system migrations (legacy EAM, ERP, CMMS, spreadsheets, GIS, etc.).
  • Experience designing asset hierarchies, classification structures and master data governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Maximo data model, relationships and integration framework.
  • Expertise in ETL/ELT tooling and orchestration (e.g., Azure Data Factory, dbt, Airflow, Informatica, custom pipelines).
  • Experience in regulated and/or transportation environments.
Preferred experience
  • Experience supporting Maximo 7.6 > MAS transformations.
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with DevOps/CI‑CD approaches in enterprise EAM.
  • Knowledge of asset performance, reliability and predictive maintenance frameworks.
  • Contribution to business development or proposal leadership.
Benefits and Compensation
  • Medical, dental and vision.
  • EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance.
  • Paid parental leave, reward & recognition programme and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement.
  • Nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year.
  • Salary range: $94,944 – $201,756 (actual salaries vary with experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location).
