Job description

As an IBM Maximo Administrator, you will support the effective management of maintenance and asset data while delivering actionable reporting solutions that enhance operational performance. You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and reliability teams to ensure data integrity, optimize maintenance processes, and provide meaningful business intelligence across mission critical semiconductor facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain asset hierarchies, locations, systems, and equipment records within IBM Maximo.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
  • Create and maintain Job Plans, Routes, Safety Plans, and Work Orders.
  • Manage asset criticality, maintenance classifications, and equipment master data.
  • Ensure consistent equipment naming conventions and data accuracy across the Maximo platform.
  • Administer Maximo user accounts, permissions, and security groups.
  • Monitor Maximo system performance and support upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization.
  • Troubleshoot Maximo issues and provide technical support to end users.
  • Support integration between IBM Maximo and Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, historians, ERP systems, and other connected platforms where applicable.
  • Configure and maintain Maximo reports, queries, and KPIs to support maintenance and reliability tracking (e.g., PM compliance, work order completion, backlog, reactive vs. planned maintenance).
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and data governance standards.
  • Support testing and validation of system changes, patches, and upgrades.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the platform supports operational and business objectives.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) administration.
  • Experience managing asset data, preventive maintenance programs, and maintenance workflows.
  • Understanding of maintenance and reliability KPIs, including MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, and PM compliance.
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, historians, and ERP system integrations.
  • Experience with Maximo security groups, user administration, and system configuration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational and maintenance data.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support.
  • Experience working within mission-critical or semiconductor environments is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
  • IBM Maximo certification preferred.
  • Microsoft Power BI certification preferred.
