Job Description
The Business Systems Analyst is expected to have excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify, document, and recommend solutions to complex business problems with accuracy. The candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will have the ability to build strong working relationships with business and technical teams.
Reports To: Senior Manager, E-Commerce
Direct Reports: None
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with suppliers to lead solution discovery sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit business and functional requirements.
• Take ownership for business and functional requirements from creation through solution delivery.
• Analyze current-state business processes and recommend future-state improved business processes.
• Serve as the point of contact during Design and Development, working through data and design questions/issues as they arise.
• Partner with Project Manager and provide input regarding risks, schedule, scope, and cost tradeoffs.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in regard to all functions/modules of the E-Commerce site.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and create/manage execution of test plans.
• Communicate business needs to the technical team and simplify/communicate complex technical information for the business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into System Specifications and assist with QAT and Integration Testing.
• Support the change management process through impact analysis and cost/benefit analysis.
• Play a key role in the Change Management Process.
• Support training efforts.
• Support the team with articulating data requirements and data quality standards.
• Lead and/or participate in special projects as requested by the Senior Manager of E-Commerce.

• Experience working on multiple projects at the same time
• 3-5 years as a technical Business Analyst.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Experience with an E-Commerce platform, hybris preferred.
• Experience in a retail environment, B2B preferred.
• Should have experience with e-commerce in B2B or B2C
• Experience with data integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools.
• Experience with SAP a plus
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, engineering, MIS or equivalent
• Strong influencing skills to drive consensus across various functions
