Business Analyst รขโ‚ฌ" Restaurant POS Platform
Location: Provo, Utah - Hybrid Onsite (3 days onsite preferred)

Our Client is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to support a Restaurant POS platform that powers end-to-end restaurant operations across both hardware and software environments. This role is ideal for a technically savvy Business Analyst who can effectively collaborate with developers, product managers, UX teams, and technical stakeholders in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Break down epics and features into actionable user stories with Product Managers and Engineering teams
  • Lead backlog refinement sessions and maintain backlog prioritization
  • Collaborate across Product, UX, Development, and Technical Writing teams
  • Support sprint execution and Agile delivery processes
  • Coordinate release activities, feature flag management, and release verification efforts
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and final story acceptance
  • Facilitate communication with downstream technical stakeholders
  • Identify and remove delivery roadblocks proactively
  • Ensure requirements are outcome-focused and aligned with business goals

Required Qualifications
  • Strong Agile/Scrum experience working within SDLC environments
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Slack, and Agile collaboration tools
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and interconnected systems
  • Experience supporting payment processing, POS, or restaurant technology platforms
  • Ability to work directly with developers and technical teams
  • Experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and supporting UAT efforts
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience
  • Restaurant POS experience
  • Experience with Toast, Clover, or similar POS platforms
  • Exposure to both hardware and software product environments
