The Opportunity:
As a Business Systems Analyst / UAT Lead, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) for Visio Lending's software solutions, while also independently owning business analysis for assigned initiatives. Working closely with other Business Systems Analysts, business stakeholders, and Engineering teams, you'll organize testing cycles, guide business users through the UAT process, track defects and approvals, and communicate testing progress and release readiness. On smaller initiatives, you'll also lead requirements discovery, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation from intake through business validation.

What You'll Do
  • Own the planning, coordination, and execution of UAT across assigned releases and projects
  • Independently lead business analysis for assigned small to moderate initiatives, from requirements discovery through implementation and validation, filling remaining capacity around UAT priorities
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and cross-functional meetings with business, technology, and vendor stakeholders
  • Elicit, document, and drive approval of clear, complete, and testable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with Business Systems Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into UAT test plans and scenarios
  • Develop and maintain UAT plans, entry/exit criteria, readiness checklists, and schedules
  • Recruit, prepare, and guide business users who serve as UAT testers
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria, UAT scenarios, defects, and business validation
  • Track UAT execution, defects, and resolution status, and report regularly on UAT health
  • Facilitate defect triage and communication between business testers, BSAs, and engineering
  • Manager UAT sign-off, approvals, and go/no-go recommendations
  • Coordinate test environment and test data readiness with technical teams
  • Demonstrate completed solutions to stakeholders and confirm delivered functionality meets business intent
  • Maintain UAT and requirements documentation, templates, and standards, driving continuous improvement
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives

What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3- 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar technology delivery role
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading requirements discovery and analysis for technology initiatives
  • Experience facilitating requirements workshops with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong experience translating business needs into clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Experience supporting or coordinating User Acceptance Testing as part of the software development lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC and the relationship between requirements, development, testing, UAT, and implementation
  • Experience working with requirements, test management, or defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail
  • Strong meeting facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, priorities, and deadlines
  • Ability to independently own assigned work and drive activities and decisions to resolution
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, personal computer, and other peripheral devices

What We Prefer to Find:
  • Experience in mortgage lending, financial services, or another regulated industry
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending processes including origination, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, and post-closing
  • Experience with DSCR or other business-purpose lending
  • Experience with Loan Origination Systems or similar lending technology, including product and pricing eligibility, rules engines, workflow design, or underwriting conditions
  • Experience coordinating formal UAT cycles involving multiple business stakeholders or non-technical testers
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries or otherwise perform data validation
