Job description

The Business Analyst will be required to provide support to the Product and IS teams. Will assist in the preparation of enhancement requirements and workarounds. Understands how to test specific lines of business in addition to creating reports to inform team members of vendor issues while maintaining accuracy and meeting targeted due dates. Demonstrates a sense of ownership in work. Works independently and a as a team player. Will need to have professional and effective communication with the vendor in coordinating the process of logs.
Technical Skills
  • Responsible for complex development of the design and specifications and produces deliverables related to the project assigned
  • Writes detailed specs working with Product department
  • Gathers, compiles, and summarizes information regarding business functional processes, technology, or data, such as requirements, specifications, test cases and data analysis
  • Applies Techniques and tools to assure accuracy and quality of assigned deliverables
  • Assists in preparing various documents requiring use of technology tools such as Word, Excel, and Access
  • Identifies and makes recommendations to improve the overall effectiveness of functional and technical processes
  • Maintains business data, rules, rates, and forms in assigned application with Product Management and vendors
  • Demonstrate commitment to Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards, and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work.

  • Working knowledge of rating policies, a plus
