Business Analyst – Regulatory & Technology Projects (Financial Services)

Location: NYC or Tri-State Area (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

Overview:

We’re hiring a Business Analyst to support the delivery of regulatory and compliance-focused technology platforms at a global banking institution. You’ll be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, supporting UAT, and ensuring business needs are accurately reflected in delivery efforts. The ideal candidate will have regulatory or surveillance experience, and be comfortable acting as the bridge between business and tech.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead requirements gathering through interviews and working sessions

  • Draft BRDs, FRDs, and process documentation

  • Support UAT planning and execution

  • Coordinate with compliance, tech, and operations teams

  • Work across JIRA and Confluence for documentation and tracking

  • Monitor delivery against requirements and manage change requests


Ideal Candidate:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services

  • Strong understanding of regulatory reporting, risk controls, or compliance systems

  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and SQL

  • Comfortable in stakeholder-facing environments, including with audit and compliance
