Business Development Associate

Status: Full-time


SUMMARY

The Business Development Associate is a sales role designed to develop future Account Executives at Huber & Associates, Inc. This position focuses on generating and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound outreach and discovery conversations. After assessing prospective clients, they will partner with Senior Account Executives as they progress opportunities through the full deal cycle.


Individuals in this role will actively learn from the Account Executives they support and participate in the lifecycle of opportunities from first contact through close. The Business Development Associate will perform all responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures.



Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identify target accounts, research key contacts, and conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, social platforms) to generate interest.
  • Source and schedule discovery meetings for sales representatives while maintaining consistent daily activity to build a healthy pipeline.
  • Lead initial discovery conversations using qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT/CHIIP) to assess technical fit, business need, urgency, and decision structure.
  • Document insights clearly in the CRM and ensure only qualified opportunities are passed to Account Executives.
  • Partner with Account Executives to transition qualified opportunities and support ongoing deal strategy.
  • Participate in pipeline reviews and observe demos, proposals, negotiations, and closes to gain full cycle sales exposure.
  • Develop understanding of how technical solutions align with customer business outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of outreach, engagement, and qualification data.
  • Track follow up sequences, support account research, and assist with sales and marketing campaigns as needed.
