Shape the Way Outdoor Spaces Come to Life Through Light

At Landscape Forms, we don't just sell lighting, we influence how spaces feel, function, and connect people. We're looking for someone who understands lighting not simply as a product, but as a tool for placemaking and part of the architectural and design experience, and who thrives in the specification sales environment where relationships, technical credibility, and influence shape project outcomes.

This is an opportunity for someone already operating comfortably within the architectural lighting, specification sales, or agency-side lighting community to step into a highly collaborative, design-driven role with meaningful regional influence.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of architectural lighting, specification influence, relationship-driven sales, and regional agency activation.

You'll partner closely with our agencies, Business Development Representatives, and internal teams to help drive specification influence across a broad network of landscape architects, multidisciplinary design firms, lighting designers, electrical engineers, and end users.

Your work will help position Landscape Forms early in the design conversation, strengthen agency and specification-community relationships, and influence projects from initial concept through specification and conversion.

At its core, this role is about building trust, becoming a valued resource within the design and specification communities, and growing long-term relationships that generate opportunity across the territory.

What You Can Expect

  • Support, stability, and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative, design-driven organization
  • A competitive benefits package including, but not limited to, insurance benefits (available your first day), 401(k), family and parenting leaves, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, quarterly bonuses, and paid time off
  • A home-based office with significant regional travel for client meetings, presentations, industry engagement, and agency partnership development
  • A collaborative, team-selling environment where success is shared across sales, specification, and customer support teams
  • A culture grounded in our Scanlon principles and OnTrac criteria, where contribution, accountability, and continuous improvement matter

Who We Are

Landscape Forms is the industry leader in integrated solutions of high-design site furniture and advanced LED lighting. For more than 50 years, we have partnered with designers and clients to create beautiful, functional outdoor environments.

Our secret is simple: Design, Culture, and Craft drive everything we do.

How You Will Contribute

  • Build and deepen relationships within the design and lighting specification community
  • Influence lighting selections across landscape architects, multidisciplinary studios, lighting designers, engineers, and end users
  • Partner closely with lighting rep agencies across your territory to strengthen specification influence and drive long-term growth
  • Deliver presentations, CEUs, and design-focused conversations that position Landscape Forms as a trusted lighting resource
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with BDRs, Inside Sales, Customer Service, agents, and project teams to move opportunities from specification through conversion
  • Stay closely connected to your territory pipeline by tracking opportunities, managing relationships, and driving visibility through Salesforce
  • Represent Landscape Forms within organizations such as IES, IALD, WILD, and IDA
  • Bring structure, intentionality, and strong relationship management to how you approach territory development

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role isn't just hitting numbers — it's:

  • Becoming a trusted voice within the design and lighting specification community
  • Building a network of agency and architectural/design client relationships that consistently generate opportunity
  • Influencing projects early enough to shape specification outcomes
  • Growing specification presence and long-term territory influence
  • Representing the Landscape Forms brand with credibility, confidence, and professionalism

Criteria for Success

  • Experience in architectural lighting, specification sales, lighting rep agencies, or related specification-driven environments, with demonstrated knowledge of the design and commercial influences of the project lighting business
  • Strong understanding of outdoor lighting applications and illumination theory
  • Wear the many hats of a successful regional: Inspire through storytelling, inform through clear communication; Activate through quality training.
  • Comfortable managing a broad regional territory with regular travel and high levels of autonomy
  • Experience CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and a working awareness of design tools such as AutoCAD, AGI32
  • A mindset that balances technical credibility, relationship-building, and customer-focused problem solving

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Home-based office with significant regional travel for client meetings, presentations, trade shows, and industry engagement
  • Work environment varies between home office, client sites, and event settings

At Landscape Forms, we believe great work happens when people are trusted to contribute, encouraged to grow, and connected to something meaningful. If that resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you.
