Description
We are a group of local businesses in the Wood River Valley looking for a driven, high-energy Business Development Representative to help us grow.
This role is focused on generating new opportunities for:
- Sawtooth Wood Products (lumber, fencing, materials)
This is not a closing role. Your job is to open doors, start conversations, and set qualified meetings with decision-makers.

Compensation
- Base: $1,500 - $2,500 per month (depending on experience)
- Performance-based incentives:
- Paid per qualified meeting set
- Additional bonuses for deals that close from your pipeline
- Upside earning potential tied directly to performance
This role is designed for someone who wants control over their income and is willing to work for it.
Hours
- Part-time to start (20-30 hours per week)
- Flexible schedule, with expectation of consistent daily outreach
- Some in-person prospecting is required during standard business hours
- Opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on performance

Responsibilities
• Prospect local businesses, contractors, and organizations daily (in-person, phone, email)
• Initiate conversations and identify potential needs
• Qualify opportunities at a basic level (need, timeline, fit)
• Schedule meetings between prospects and our team
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities
• Track all outreach, conversations, and meetings in CRM
• Develop referral relationships within the local market
• Represent our businesses professionally in the community
Qualifications
• Strong communication skills (in-person and phone)
• Comfortable initiating conversations with new people daily
• Self-starter with high accountability and follow-through
• Organized and able to manage multiple conversations and leads
• Resilient and not discouraged by rejection
• Prior sales, customer service, or business development experience preferred
• Knowledge of the local Hailey/Ketchum market is a plus
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
