Job description


Responsibilities
  • Identifying and researching leads for new work and proposal leads, lunch and learns, and other business development tasks
  • Support project team by coordinating proposal opportunities and presentations for both prime and teaming arrangements
  • Maintain consistent interaction with multiple offices including principals, directors, managers, and others to effectively support business development strategy
  • Assisting with business development plan development and budgets
  • Identifying, tracking, and coordinating conference, industry, and award opportunities
  • Supply content and coordinate with Social Media Team for support of social media, marketing campaigns, and website and industry conferences
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with company strategy, deliver content via LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, email, or direct mail through the corporate marketing group
  • Conduct market research to keep up with changing demographic and other relevant issues to assist with evaluating business development and communication activities and to monitor emerging issues
  • Assist with maintaining and updating databases
  • Additional research, administrative tasks, and or special projects as needed

Qualifications
  • BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or similar preferred, but not required

  • 0 – 3 years of business development experience
