Job description

Position purpose

The Corporate Service Associate will develop and demonstrate a basic understanding of retirement plans and Benetrends’ products and services with the goal of establishing corporations for new and seasoned entrepreneurs. The Corporate Service Associate will also be able to clearly communicate corporate responsibilities and state requirements.

Successful Candidates Will
  • Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
  • Be comfortable with a high volume of incorporation services and other organizational support duties
  • Ability to work with process management systems and document/information management
  • Collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects at the same time in a fastpaced environment
  • Overall positive attitude, a high level of professionalism, and integrity,
  • Exercise sound judgement and discretion
  • Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file required documents to establish corporate entities including:
  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Doing Business As (DBA’s)
  • Amendments
  • Dissolutions
  • Conversions from LLC to CCorporation
  • Revocations from SCorporation to CCorporation
  • Foreign Entities
  • Required State Licenses
  • Work with clients to obtain signatures on various documents
  • Obtain EIN’s from the IRS, SS4 documentation
  • Organize and prepare documents for banks and other related parties
  • Prepare and send minutes, bylaws and stock certificates to clients
  • Prepare and send addendums and stock certificates
  • Understanding of State Requirements for Corporations
  • Ability to clearly communicate state and corporate responsibilities to clients
  • Work with Registered Agents as needed
  • Exercising judgment in determining acceptable data
  • Communicate with external and internal sources as needed
