A Day in the LifeÂ
Your CTO client just called.  She is in desperate need of an Application Developer, or maybe she needs an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical implementation.  As a Business Development manager, you will work with high caliber Recruiters to fulfill exciting project and direct-hire positions in the areas of information technology.  Positions may include and not be limited to: Application Development, Network Engineering, CIOs, CTOs, and more. Â
Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Sell complex, strategic IT solutions, staffing and consulting projects in your local market while cross-selling across national practices and sister offices.Â
- Conduct prospecting activities including phone calls, "ad calls," skills marketing, email, social media, in-person meetings, and other methods. Â
- Establish and conduct client visits according to performance goals. Â
- Actively develop and maintain a target account list.Â
- Generate new job orders according to performance objectives.  Â
- Manage open job orders from intake to fulfillment. Â
- Achieve performance objectives relating to activity and individual Gross Margin according to job level and line of business.  Â
- Consistently utilize Bullhorn to log all activity, notes, and information vital to managing and growing a book of business as well as planning daily activities. Â
- Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell and/or fulfill open positions across other lines of business and/or national practices as appropriate. Â

Education/Experience:Â Â
- Bachelor's Degree plus 2+ years' technology sales and/or staffing experience. Â
- Active and/or leading member of technology networking groups with proven success in technology sales or staffing. Â
- Established reputation and network within the IT community in your respective market. Â
Technical Skills:Â Â
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office SuiteÂ
- Experience with Bullhorn preferred.Â
