Job description

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a technically strong Senior Systems Specialist, Business Development Platforms to support and enhance the Firm's business development and marketing technology.  As a member of the Information Technology (IT) department, the Senior Systems Specialist, Business Development Platforms will partner with Business Development (BD), IT, and external vendors to maintain and improve the Firm's business development technology stack. This individual will be the primary technical resource across core BD platforms, with a strong focus on legal CRM platforms and their connected systems, translating business needs into practical solutions, improving workflows, supporting users, and helping shape the Firm's BD technology roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serves as the administrator and subject matter expert for BD and marketing technology platforms, with deep expertise in Interaction; administers and optimizes CRM systems, experience management, email/automation tools, and event platforms;
  • Translates BD objectives into technical requirements; drives work using Agile methodologies;
  • Partners with vendors, IT, and crossfunctional teams to evaluate enhancements, participate in product roadmaps, and conduct release testing;
  • Enforces data standards, taxonomies, validation rules, and data governance policies across BD platforms;
  • Manages and troubleshoots integrations across the BD technology ecosystem-especially vendor integrations with tools such as: Vuture, Introhive, and CVent-connecting CRM, website, analytics, HR/finance systems, and marketing automation platforms;
  • Leads configuration, maintenance, permissions, integrations, workflow development, and platform optimization across the BD technology stack;
  • Develops reporting logic, dashboards, and analytics (Power BI or comparable tools); provides actionable insights to BD leadership;
  • Provides advanced support for platform setup, technical troubleshooting, and communications workflows;
  • Assists in producing training materials, onboarding guides, and user documentation; coaches BD professionals on effective platform usage;
  • Contributes to short- and long-term BD technology roadmaps; and
  • Performs additional duties, as assigned. 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field required; equivalent experience will be considered;
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting CRM, marketing, business development, or other enterprise platforms, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment;
  • Experience administering and supporting CRM platforms; experience with InterAction, Intapp DealCloud, Salesforce, or similar platforms is preferred;
  • Experience supporting or working with business development technologies such as Litera Foundation Experience, Introhive, Vuture, or comparable tools is preferred;  
  • Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI; advanced Excel skills, Basic SQL skills and experience with Power Automate are a plus;
  • Experience managing projects, including technology implementations, rollouts, and change management initiatives;
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools or platforms (e.g., generative AI for content, AI-assisted CRM, or predictive analytics) and a forward-looking perspective on their application in BD and marketing contexts;
  • Highly organized and detailoriented, with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in deadlinedriven environments;
  • Serviceoriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work; and
  • Availability to work additional hours, as needed.

This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, which is subject to change. The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and discretionary bonus(es), we offer a generous employee benefits package including, but not limited to, paid time off, medical, dental, vision care, 401(k) and substantial health club discounts.
