Super Star Car Wash is looking for a driven, dynamic leader with management experience and a passion for inspiring teams! This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives working outdoors, excels in team development, running / building a strong business, delivers / maintains consistent standards throughout the car wash and is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer and team experience.
Our Manager in Training program is designed to provide hands-on experience in every aspect of car wash operations, equipping you with the skills to step confidently into the General Manager role From day one, you'll immerse yourself in our operations, learning the business from the ground up. As you progress, you'll take on increasing responsibility, mastering day-to-day management and driving the overall success and profitability of a Super Star Car Wash location.

What You'll Be Doing

Operational Management
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the car wash, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead a clean, safe, fun, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
  • Monitor and manage equipment maintenance and inventory levels to ensure continuous operation.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize efficiency and service quality.
  • Understand all aspects of Safety, including implementing, executing and coaching all company Safety Practices & Procedures in a fast-paced business.
  • Keep up to date on business objectives (Both Opportunities and Successes).
  • Lead and implement change

Sales & Membership Growth
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase membership sales and customer retention.
  • Train and motivate staff to promote and sell memberships effectively.
  • Ensure their team is trained and, prepared to implement local marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to drive customer traffic and membership sign-ups.
  • Analyze sales data / customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach and retain a high-performing team to sell and provide great customer service.
  • Understand that the more prepared their team is the higher their productivity will be.
  • Communicate effectively daily to their team to keep them in the know.
  • Develop and help their team grow into other positions within the company.
  • Manage employee scheduling, payroll, 1:1s, and performance evaluations.

Customer Experience
  • Ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and repeat business.

Financial & Performance Management
  • Manage the location's budget, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to management.

What We're Looking For
Experience
  • 3 years of management experience required.
  • Car wash, retail or hospitality experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience leading and developing a team in a high sales environment.
  • Strong background in sales and customer service, with a focus on membership-based models preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Hands-on, results-driven mindset with a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment, post-offer criminal background check
  • Ability to transfer to other locations within the designated district

Pay Transparency
Base Pay:
The hourly rate during management training will range from $XX to $XX per hour, before transitioning to an exempt salaried role ranging from $X - $X per year plus bonus upon completion of training. The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on relevant skills and experience.
