Proposal Analyst Sr
What You Will Be Doing
The Senior Proposal Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the development of Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) New Business proposals, covering both Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) estimates. This high visibility role partners closely with engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, and customer facing teams to develop accurate, data driven cost estimates and competitive pricing packages. The analyst's output supports proposal submissions, contract negotiations, and long term program planning, ensuring our pricing remains defensible, profitable, and aligned with customer and corporate expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain detailed cost models for AMMM proposals (new business, commercial sales, ROM, firm).
Generate pricing packages that balance competitiveness with margin targets.
Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to support negotiation strategies.
Partner with engineering to validate technical assumptions and bill of materials data.
Work with supply chain to capture realistic sourcing, lead time, and risk information.
Coordinate with contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Consolidate and curate historical cost, pricing, and performance data for benchmarking.
Produce executive level dashboards and recommendation reports for senior leadership.
Maintain proposal repositories and ensure version control.
Drive standardization of pricing methodologies across the AMMM portfolio.
Provide real time pricing support during negotiations and contract finalization.
Balance remote work with occasional on site collaboration and domestic/international travel
