About the Job
As Proposal Coordinator, you support the development of proposals that reflect our technical excellence and client-focused approach. You partner with technical teams to organize, draft, edit, format, and deliver compliant, compelling proposals across a range of environmental and engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
  • Review RFPs/RFQs and develop compliance matrices, outlines, and response plans
  • Coordinate proposal kickoffs, timelines, and task tracking with internal teams
  • Draft, edit, and refine proposal narratives, executive summaries, and project descriptions
  • Ensure proposals are compliant, well-organized, and aligned with key win themes
  • Apply consistent branding and formatting; produce polished PDFs and print-ready materials
  • Maintain proposal templates, boilerplate content, and knowledge-management resources
  • Support post-submission tasks such as interview materials and proposal analytics

Requirements
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 3+ years of proposal coordination, technical writing, or related experience in consulting (environmental, engineering, scientific, or AEC services preferred)
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing timelines and coordinating across teams
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign)
  • Positive attitude, collaboration mindset, and eagerness to learn
  • Experience supporting proposals for environmental consulting, engineering, planning, or scientific services firms
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers

Compensation is commensurate with experience and internal equity, within the listed range. An employee's total compensation package includes annual salary, company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) participation with a company match of 1% to 4% of annual compensation, company-paid life and short- and long-term disability insurance, paid sick leave (10 days), paid vacation (10 days), paid holidays (9 days) per year, and the potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance. Paid time off will be prorated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicable.
