Proposal Analyst Sr
What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Proposal Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy for AMMM (C-130J, C-5, and P-3) development and sustainment programs. As the pricing subject matter expert, you will develop accurate, data-driven cost estimates and pricing proposals that directly support competitive contract pursuits, customer negotiations, and long-term program success. This highly collaborative role partners with engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, and customer-facing teams to deliver pricing solutions that align with customer requirements, business objectives, and corporate compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and deliver comprehensive cost estimates and pricing proposals for development and sustainment efforts across AMMM programs.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, and Program Management to gather inputs and build competitive pricing strategies.
- Prepare pricing packages and financial analyses that support proposal submissions, customer negotiations, and contract modifications.
- Ensure pricing methodologies are accurate, compliant, and aligned with customer requirements, government regulations, and company policies.
- Analyze historical data, cost trends, and program requirements to develop defensible cost estimates and identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Support long-range business planning by providing pricing recommendations and financial insights that influence strategic decision-making.
- Present pricing assumptions, cost analyses, and recommendations to program leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance proposal quality, pricing efficiency, and estimating processes.
