Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Recruiter II (Temporary) is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including talent sourcing, candidate attraction, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. This temporary role is expected to support current hiring needs and may extend or convert to a full-time position based on business needs and performance.

The Recruiter II will play a critical role in ensuring the organization attracts and hires high-quality talent to support ongoing growth and success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices and market trends.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to drive efficient recruitment process and sound hiring decisions by meeting with managers to understand the requirements of the position and the needs of the department.
  • Work with hiring managers to create accurate job descriptions to be used for job postings.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and partnerships with educational institutions to Attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open positions.
  • Promote the company's employer brand through various channels to attract top talent and enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Develop candidate pipelines from a diverse selection of source channels.
  • Ensure assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
  • Define and implement talent attraction and active and passive sourcing strategies targeted by role and/or function, adjusting as needed throughout the recruitment process. Develop job advertisements.
  • Conduct thorough screening and interviewing processes to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. Provide feedback to hiring managers regarding the candidates' experience and skills to perform the job function.
  • Extend offers and negotiate compensation based on budgets and internal equity.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Initiate onboarding plan for new hires. Facilitate orientation for new employees.
  • Keep abreast of trends in the employment market as well as with new recruitment tools and technologies.
  • Leverage Applicant Tracking System and other data to report on recruiting metrics including - Time to Fill, Time to Hire, Conversion, Source Channel Performance, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience required.
  • SHRM certification is preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a full-service recruiter is required.
  • Innovative recruiting strategy development skills are required.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize, multitask, and deliver exceptional customer service to the internal stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Experience with sourcing, passive recruitment, and attracting candidates via social media and networking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.
  • Excellent Microsoft skills- Outlook and Word; ATS database experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
