Job description

Utah Housing Corporation (UHC), based in West Valley City, Utah, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional for the role of Program Administrator within our Multifamily Finance and Development Department (MFD). This full-time position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals wanting to help low-income individuals work towards and complete the purchase of a home through our CROWN affordable-housing program.

At UHC, our mission is to serve Utah's housing needs through finance and innovation. Our core values - integrity, respect, communication, teamwork and collaboration, and growth and development - shape how we work together and how we support the communities we serve. We are looking for someone who embodies these values in their daily work and takes pride in contributing to a purpose-driven organization.

This Program Administrator position offers a hybrid work schedule and pays between $55,827 and $73,028 annually, based on education and experience. UHC offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes employer contributions to Utah Retirement Systems (URS), PEHP traditional health plans, and a high-deductible health plan with HSA contributions. Additional benefits include dental and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, group term life and accident insurance, and retirement options including 401(k), 457, IRA, and Roth IRA plans. Employees also enjoy an onsite fitness center, 30 minutes of paid daily exercise, and a convenient onsite market, all within a supportive, coaching-oriented environment.

As Program Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting MFD's CROWN affordable housing program. Your responsibilities will include working with affordable housing providers, program participants, lenders, and title company staff to educate them about our CROWN program and guide them through the home-purchase process. You will prepare purchase-price calculations and home-purchase closing documents for purchase transactions. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing project audits and processing construction draws on new CROWN projects. This role will also provide back-up for our insurance and investor billing processes.

This Program Administrator role requires a bachelor's degree or four years of full-time, paid professional experience in a related field, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in real estate, title, or program/project management. Experience in title is preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of real estate concepts, as well as the ability to interpret complex loan documents and perform mathematical calculations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidates must either hold or be able to obtain a notary designation. Light in-state travel for program meetings and events may occasionally by required.

If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in affordable housing and contribute to UHC's mission of creating thriving communities, we encourage you to apply. We look forward to the opportunity to meet you!
