SUMMARY The Program Administrator works as part of a multi-disciplinary team in providing supervision to adult residents with severe and persistent mental illness. GLOM's residential program includes both crisis stabilization and transitional housing services. This position also manages facility staff members.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Organization of the work of the facility and delegation of responsibilities to staff members.

· Assessment of the facility operations and programs.

· Being a part of Recruitment, appointment, evaluation, and termination of staff.

· Support staff training by attending weekly staff training/house meetings.

· Overseeing and maintaining up to date employee records.

· Assisting with conducting staff reviews, evaluations, write ups, and mediations.

· Reviewing hours and submitting staff timecards bi-weekly.

· Being a part of the Development of a plan for the orientation, development, and training of staff with Program Director and Licensee.

· Review of complaints made by clients and/or their authorized representative(s) and deciding upon the action to be taken to handle the complaint.

· Ensure the provisions of services to clients with special health and mental health care needs with appropriate regard for the client’s physical and mental health well-being and needs, including those services identified in the client’s individualized health care plan.

· Overseeing staff scheduling for facilities.

· Regularly checking facility binders and client binders for accuracy and up to date information.

· Supporting and giving direction to house staff, and supervising house operations.

· Communication with CCL re: agency incidents and employee information.

· Ensuring facility is up to date on certifications such as fire clearance, JJC, etc.

· Assisting with training new employees on agency programs and protocols.

· Making sure that all clients receive therapy and case management services.

· Make sure all clients receive services and have weekly activities.

· Lead weekly staff training/house meetings.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Must be at least 21 years of age.

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Program Administrator Certification (ARF Specific).

· At least two (2) years of experience working in an administrative support capacity.

· Experience working in the adult residential care industry is preferred.

· At least one (1) year of Mental Health experience preferred.

· Knowledge of psychiatric illness and its treatment.

· Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in an often-ambiguous environment.

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups.

· MS Office Suite proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

· Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Proven track record with maintaining strict confidentiality and appropriately work with sensitive information/documents.

· Act as a team member providing input and reporting observations and concerns regarding client care.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· PPD test for tuberculosis and satisfactory results.

· Health Screening.

· CCL approved FBI and DOJ criminal background clearances.

· Valid driver’s license.

· DMV printout.

· CPR/First Aid/BLS certification.

· Authorized to work in the U.S.
