Job Description
We are looking for a talented individual...
The Associate Account Manager supports delivery of utility-sponsored energy-efficiency programs for commercial and industrial (C&I) customers within an assigned territory. Acting as CLEAResult's on-the-ground representative, this role helps business customers and their contractors identify, pursue, and complete energy-saving projects that qualify for utility incentives and rebates.
This is an entry-to-mid-level account management role, well suited to someone early in their energy efficiency or client-facing career who wants to build technical program knowledge, customer relationship skills, and utility-program expertise. The Associate works closely with a Senior Account Manager and program staff, taking on a growing share of the account portfolio and project pipeline as they develop proficiency, with a clear path toward a full Account Manager role.
Here at CLEAResult, you will fit right in with our energetic team if you are resourceful, resilient, and kind.
For this exciting career opportunity, you're a great fit if you can...
  • Maintain current accounts and develop new accounts for lower kWh goals for one or more programs. Accounts can be low risk and transitional.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications
  • Document customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements. Provide input and status updates to program staff
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of C&I customers, facilities staff, and trade contractors participating in utility energy-efficiency programs.
    • Promote available energy-efficiency measures, financial incentives, and rebate programs to commercial and industrial accounts, and help customers understand program eligibility and requirements.
    • Support customers and contractors through the project lifecycle - from initial site engagement and application through installation, verification, and incentive payment.
    • Conduct or assist with on-site visits to commercial and industrial facilities to assess energy-saving opportunities and gather project documentation.
    • Prepare and review project proposals, applications, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness in line with program and utility requirements.
    • Track account and project status in CRM/program tracking systems; maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer interactions and project milestones.
    • Partner with senior account managers, engineers, and program staff to learn program design, incentive structures, and industry terminology.

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have...
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Relevant training, industry certifications, education, and work experience could replace education
  • Great presentation skills

  • Energy Efficiency experience is a plus
