Associate Account Manager
The Associate Account Manager role requires an individual who is professional and courteous, and who displays drive, determination, pro-activity, and self-motivation. With a positive attitude, the Associate will provide support to Account Executives, & Account Managers. The individual in this position is expected to be pursuing a career in insurance and the position of Account Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Account Executives and Account Managers to include but not limited to:
  • Photocopying
  • Printing
  • Binding
  • Labeling
  • Data Entry
  • Scanning
  • Process MVRs as per established Agency guidelines
  • Maintain department reports as request by supervisor
  • Maintenance of department carrier information and website management
  • Adhere to all Agency systems, procedures and state regulations
  • Assume other job responsibilities as requested by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of professional experience, insurance, or with a carrier preferred.
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred; or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, prospects, and colleagues
  • Ability to interpret and understand insurance policy forms and coverage details
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while also working effectively with a high degree of autonomy
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions effectively, while demonstrating initiative and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a face paced, rapidly changing environment with flexibility, adaptability, efficiency and organization
  • Strong MS Office skills, e.g., MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability and willingness to work in a positive team environment
  • Above average mathematical skills
