We're looking to hire a talented Sr Sales Operations Analyst based in Denton, TX.
Reporting to the Sales Operation Manager, the Sr Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for primarily supporting the North American Sales Team. Key responsibilities include managing sales data, reporting and analyzing selling activities and outcomes, and working closely with IT to ensure accurate data flows.
Primary Duties
  • Support weekly and monthly standard work associated with sales growth bridges, partner rebates, and sales incentive plans
  • Build and maintain current PowerBI reports, as well as create new ones to support commercial programs.
  • Support and develop implementation of tools for use by the Sales team to understand and simulate program performance.
  • Working with large data sets to provide data analytics and problem solutions.
  • Analysis of existing commercial programs for senior management.
  • Management/ownership of underlying data required to execute programs.
  • Reporting on the performance of the programs to Commercial leadership.
  • Forecasting programs' financial impact on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Support design and analysis of future programs and program changes as required.
  • Routine audits of data to ensure accuracy of reporting and payments.
  • Interface with Sales, IT, Sales Operations, and Finance, as needed, to execute the programs effectively.
  • Administration of program payments, reporting, and communication activities.
  • Other duties assigned to support business objectives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, 5+ years of relevant business experience in Sales Support, Finance, IT, or Data Management roles.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Effectively learn and understand ESAB's systems and data flows.
  • Advanced database skills, including writing queries and reports in MS Access, SQL, and/or PowerBI.
  • Ability to understand data joins and manipulate multiple data sources in SQL, Access, PowerBI, MS Dynamics, etc.
  • Capable of researching, understanding, and communicating issues with data, reporting, and system outputs.
  • Experience building or migrating ERP systems and their data structures.
  • Significant experience with data analytics and working with large data sets.
  • Strong verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating over the phone and in person with sales team members and leaders.
  • Strong team player; builds working relationships with team members and personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-starter: shows initiative and proactively identifies opportunities for improvements.
  • Experience with Master Data Management preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability for self-learning.
  • Adaptable to changes in shifting organizational priorities and strategies.
  • Skilled at communicating quantitative information to individuals unfamiliar with data and system intricacies.
  • Ability to build consensus among groups with differing opinions and preferences across business teams, countries, and functional areas.
  • Advanced planning and prioritization skills.
  • Understanding of financial reporting and finance data preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Openness to new ideas and solutions; focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement opportunities.

Working Conditions
  • Remains in a stationary position 50% of the time and involves additional physical demands such as ascending/descending stairs, walking stooping and standing.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment 'PPE' when working/visiting manufacturing and plant locations.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery including but not limited to printer, tablets, cell phones.
  • Moves transports, puts, or removes equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.; pushes, pulls products weighing up to 200 lbs. using provided safety tools.
  • May be exposed to varying weather during travel.
