Job description

The Sales Analyst is responsible for providing insights and recommendations to drive sales performance. This role involves overseeing data collection processes, analyzing sales data, and collaborating with stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making while ensuring data accuracy and integrity. The sales analyst is responsible for optimizing data-driven initiatives and fostering a collaborative team environment.

ONSITE: This is an onsite position, candidates must be able to report to our Store Support Center located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA 90040.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Develop and implement sales analysis strategies and methodologies to identify market trends, sales opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the collection, organization, and analysis of data to generate accurate and actionable reports and recommendations.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in reports and establish and maintain standardized analysis processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales analysis efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline analysis procedures, increase efficiency, and enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal teams, addressing inquiries, and concerns, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities, market conditions, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and potential risks.
  • Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate sales analysis findings.
  • Develop and implement data collection strategies, methodologies, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality across the team.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, such as Directors and Buyers, to understand their data requirements and provide support as needed.
  • Conduct quality control checks on collected data to identify and resolve any inconsistencies, errors, or anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data collection processes, guidelines, and best practices for reference and training purposes.
  • Analyze and interpret data collection metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and optimize data collection processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external data collection vendors or partners, if applicable, to support data collection efforts.
