Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist with strong problem solving and communication skills to join our team in a full-time role based in our corporate headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. This role is responsible for maintaining online content, launching new products, monitoring inventory and pricing, responding to customer questions and reviews, and supporting the day-to-day needs of the company's retail accounts (such as Amazon, The Home Depot, and Lowe's) through timely reporting and internal/external issue resolution.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Online Content

  • Coordinate with Category Management, Creative, and Sales Systems teams to publish and maintain accurate, up-to-date product and brand content for online product listings and brand pages.
  • Launch new products in timely and effective manner, coordinating with Product Development, Category Management, and Creative Teams.
  • Communicate content development opportunities and competitive insights to Category Management and Creative teams to ensure the company's content is best-in-class and.
  • Take ownership over content scorecards for assigned accounts to ensure that all products are fully enriched.

Account Support

  • Monitor online pricing and product availability and resolve price/availability issues through internal and external resolution paths.
  • Maintain accurate customer-specific pricing and inventory feeds and ensure that order fulfillment and billing processes are functioning properly; work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve .
  • Maintain expert-level understanding of customer platforms for assigned retail customers, supporting the cross-functional needs of the company's teams.

Voice of Customer

  • Provide timely and helpful responses to end user Q&A and product reviews, escalating customer issues to Customer Service and reporting on trends and areas of concern.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans and initiatives.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or the equivalent in related work experience is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, account management, eCommerce, or related roles is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
