Job Description

The Operations Analyst is responsible for driving meaningful change in the business by performing thoughtful analyses of our operational processes, generating creative strategic initiatives, and support for compensation programs within the organization. This role combines analytical skills with administrative responsibilities to ensure that compensation and commission plans are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives and operational needs 

Your Focus:  

  • Administer the sales compensation process, including calculating, validating, and processing monthly and quarterly commission payouts in accordance with approved compensation plans.

  • Maintain data integrity across Salesforce, Xactly, and Workday by reconciling commission, employee, and sales data, and partnering with Human Resources to ensure accurate system setup and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Operations teams to establish and distribute sales quotas, support annual compensation plan rollouts, and contribute to plan design, system configuration, training, and process documentation.

  • Generate, analyze, and present reports on commissions, sales performance, forecasting, pricing, margins, and other key operational metrics to support business decision-making.

  • Provide operational support to Worldwide Sales & Services, including analysis of bookings, order processing, selling trends, and business performance.

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Consulting, HR, Finance, and Operations to drive operational excellence and support key business priorities.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of experience in Operations, Business Analytics, Finance, Revenue Operations, or a similar analytical role.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support business decision-making.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

  • Experience with Xactly or a similar incentive compensation management platform is preferred.

  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools is a plus.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of operational and financial reporting.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence outcomes.

  • Experience in a SaaS or technology environment is a plus.

Compensation 

The base salary range for this role is $66,400 to $119,600 and represents a good faith estimate of the range at the time of posting.  Strategy maintains broad salary ranges to account for differences in skills, experience, qualifications, internal peer equity, market conditions, and business needs.  

Candidates are typically placed within the range based on these factors, and it is not common for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range. The posted range reflects base salary only. Eligible employees may also participate in bonus programs, sales incentives, equity awards, and comprehensive benefits, as applicable.
