Summary
The Sales Systems Administrator & Analyst is a highly analytical, research-orientated role that must excel in the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic sales environment to support sales and pricing analytics. This role will require the ability to see the "big picture" in a global complex business environment, especially during the ERP implementation project over the next several years. The ability to understand company accounting policies, practices and business systems along with interdependencies of business functions related to sales transaction flows will be key. Broad knowledge with techniques in collecting data, analyzing information, generating reports, programming, and SQL Server is required. It is also vital that applicants are open to learning processes and can translate that knowledge to Sales and IT teams.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Continuously enhance knowledge of Victaulic's industry, customers, and products, through constant interaction with department and functional managers in Sales, Customer Care, Finance and IT.
• Leads the management and optimization of core systems, ensuring operational efficiency, security compliance and alignments with organizational objectives. They also empower users to confidently utilize the systems.
• Support and enhance the organization's internal systems (current and future ERP, Salesforce, Sharepoint, QlikSense, etc) to align with business objectives.
• Responsible for refining and optimizing information systems to ensure they support key functions across the organization.
• Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce and SharePoint, managing permissions, upgrades and third-party integrations.
• Develop and maintain centralized system documentation to ensure 100% of system configurations, workflows and dependencies are recorded and accessible.
• Conduct regular data quality audits to achieve 95% data accuracy, providing clear standards and training for users.
• Develop and deliver training programs to achieve user proficiency within three months of system upgrades and change
• Assist with the planning and implementation of software upgrades
• Actively partake and contribute to Sales reporting, system, and process re-engineering efforts within the organization and evaluate the impact of process changes.
• Proactively identify and resolve problems or gaps in the sales reporting systems.
• Conduct research and pricing analysis and monitor the ongoing business environment.
• Design and implement complex modeling tools to improve the sales and pricing analytics.
• Perform ad-hoc profitability analysis of specific products and initiatives.
• Support the ERP implementation as well as sales reporting and analytical pricing tools.
• Liaison with IT and Finance teams and other cross function teams as needed.
• Participate in special projects to develop, implement and enhance processes and policies that improve sales analytics and reporting efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales operation process.
Education, Experience and Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology
• Standard proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook is required
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel using advanced formulas, pivots, charts, graphs and VBA scripting; SQL Server, including SQL Packages; creating queries, and Business Intelligence tools (Qlik / Tableau / Power BI) - (sophisticated modeling, manipulating and analyzing large data sets, etc.)
• Highly skilled in working in a faced-paced environment with multiple and competing priorities with the ability to plan appropriately to meet deadlines with minimum supervision
• Excellent relationship building skills with proven experience to work collaboratively with diverse, global stakeholders while gaining cooperation and engagement
• Ability to interpret large amounts of financial and non-financial data and summarize it to present meaningful information to various levels of management
• Applicants are also required to have the ability to accomplish projects working with and through others. They must also consistently document procedures that were undertaken to address a problem
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines and to manage tight timelines as required
