Senior Sales Analyst
Position Summary: We are looking for a Senior Sales Analyst to join our team! The Senior Sales Analyst will analyze consumer and category data to generate insights and recommendations aimed at enhancing sales, operations, and profitability. This role involves collaboration with various teams including sales, strategy, marketing, eCommerce, and insights.
Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations about product placement and distribution to meet sales and marketing goals.
  • Project Work: Engaging in analytics related to topline reporting, sales reviews, category line reviews, and overall business trends across the omnichannel landscape.
  • Opportunity Identification: Validating opportunities within specific Frozen Prepared Seafood and other categories as applicable, using various data sources, including customer POS, syndicated data, market data, and other sources.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Managing relationships with key customers to enhance selling opportunities.
  • Reporting Development: Creating regular reports and dashboards for leadership to understand market trends and opportunities.
  • Strategic Analysis: Leading analysis for assigned regions to drive decisions on assortment, merchandising, and shelving.
  • Team Development: Assisting in coaching teammates on data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Market Engagement: Conducting market visits to gather insights, perform audits, and participate in Business Planning sessions.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of analytical experience in a relevant industry such as consumer goods, retail, or other CPG experience. Essential skills include:
  • Knowledge and experience with syndicated data, customer card/POS data, panel data and their application (i.e. Circana, NPD, Numerator, 84.51, dunnhumby, Stratum, Spectra/demographics).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills for presentations and reports.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% as required.

Pay Range: $90,320 - $112,900/Annual
