What you'll do... Help support our patient focused organization in cultivating our operational excellence and clinical care capabilities. In this role, you will be a key specialist and subject matter expert on a variety of topics which includes aligning existing GEDC curricula with Professional Development, Continuing Education (CE) and standardizing operating procedures across the enterprise

This role will also support the content building and management of proprietary courses with our LMS and other learning partners. As an L&D Specialist, you will have the opportunity to coordinate professional development programs that drive company growth through the collaboration with Directors of Operations, Vice Presidents of Operations, Practice Support Center (PSC) Management and other Team Members to build new content and review current content. This position is located at our corporate office in Southfield, MI and has a hybrid schedule of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in-office and Wednesday/Friday remote.

What you'll bring to the team... The Learning and Development Specialist will leverage LMS administration and eLearning development expertise, using a variety of presentation methods and applications to support adult learning styles and facilitate training. This position requires a strong passion to educate our Team Members on key aspects of how to fully perform the essential duties of their roles in support of the GEDC go forward strategic plan

A major objective of the Learning & Development department is to support the Operations Team to standardize operations, utilizing data to determine priorities and implement effective training with measurable business and patient impact. Partner with the Learning & Development team to review and organize current learning content resources and manage content within the LMS Validate new curricula by integrating feedback from internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and optimizing program design to continuously improve delivery and the overall Team Member learning experience Assist in system implementation activities, including affiliation integration, software system conversions and upgrades, and workflow process implementation Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, equipment, attendance, and reporting for meetings and courses provided utilizing the LMS Schedule training sessions, book venues, and set up virtual meetings through Teams and/or Outlook Coordinate and help facilitate a variety of in-person and online professional development initiatives Coordinate and train existing Team Members to effectively train their Team Members; provide coaching and feedback to facilitators regarding Learning & Development expectations (Train the Trainer) Collaborate with Operations Leadership and Practice Support Center (PSC) leaders to analyze data, identify best practices, and uncover improvement opportunities to support fully performing Team Members in every practice-based role Support institutionalizing the Provider Journey by creating pathways for clinical mentorship, skill development, career progression, and continuing education Work with Learning & Development leadership and Directors of Operations to plan visits to dental offices to better understand office operations and the core of the business Ability to travel locally and/or nationally as needed (15%) to support training events, including setup, breakdown, curriculum support, and facilitation All other tasks as requested by the Manager, Learning & Development and VP, Strategy & Operations Duties and Responsibilities... Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions, uploading and organizing course content, configuring learning paths, certifications, and enrollments, troubleshoot user issues and provide support, maintain system integrations (HRIS, SSO, etc.), and ensure data accuracy and system compliance within the LMS Previous experience with Docebo or similar systems preferred Build and run reports to analyze learner data and distribute to subject matter experts, champions, and leaders Previous experience in LMS content building in Articulate 360 and the Adobe Suite or similar systems is preferred Proficient with Teams virtual training platform, including annotations, polls and other features to enhance engagement with virtual training Must be comfortable providing written and verbal communication that provides direction, requirements and follow-up Proficient with technology: ability to learn and use a variety of computer systems, including MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Smartsheet Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions Ability and passion for delivering professional and engaging presentations to small or large groups of people through various mediums (instructor-led, virtual and in-person) Must have excellent organization, time and project management skills, with an ability to work independently and proactively Committed to excellence, strong work ethic and ability to multitask/manage multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with various learning types and training methods including; on-the-job, role play, lectures, instructor led (in person and virtual), synchronous and asynchronous e-learning What we require you have..

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Education Technology, Human Resources/Organizational Development, or any other related field Minimum of three (3) years working experience in learning and development Minimum of three (3) years learning management system administration experience Certification from talent or training associations is a plus Active participation in professional organizations is a plus Must be able to travel 15% About GEDC...
